07 MAY 2025 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is anticipating a surge in port passengers during the national and local election period from May 9 to May 13, 2025, with an estimated 1,155,238 travelers expected to pass through major ports nationwide.

02 MAY 2025 — The Manila South Harbor, the country’s premier international trade gateway, has undergone a major upgrade through a ₱5.7 Billion private sector investment by Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) and global partner DP World.

22 APRIL 2025 – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. officially led the inauguration of the newly completed Port Operations Building (POB) under the Balingoan Port Expansion Project in Barangay Bauk-bauk, Municipality of Balingoan, Misamis Oriental together with the officials from the Department of Transportation and representatives from the national and local government alongside with port stakeholders on April 22, 2025.

21 April 2025 — Holy week 2025 is generally peaceful in all Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) managed ports nationwide serving over 2,291,666 passengers this year, a 37.14% increase from the Holy Week passengers last year with only 1,670,984 on the same period respectively from April 12 to 20.

15 ABRIL 2025 — Sa isinagawang inspeksyon nina Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon at Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) General Manager Jay Daniel Santiago nitong Lunes, (Abril 14, 2025) sa Manila NorthPort Passenger Terminal, inikot ng mga opisyal ang iba’t ibang pasilidad ng pantalan kasama ang mga kinatawan ng operator ng pantalan na ito na Manila North Harbour Port Inc. (MNHPI) at ng shipping line na 2GO Group Inc.

10 ABRIL 2025 — Nagsagawa ng inspeksyon si DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon sa Port of Batangas na numero uno sa listahan ng pinakamaraming pasahero ngayong Semana Santa sa tala ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), kung saan higit dalawampung libo ang inaasahan na pasahero dito mula sa kabuuang humigit kumulang na 1.73 milyong mga pasahero sa mga pantalan sa buong bansa ngayong Semana Santa.

08 APRIL 2025 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is preparing for an influx of passengers this coming Holy Week with “OPLAN Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa 2025,” expecting a significant surge in travelers with a 3.5% increase in passengers from 1.67M last year to 1.73M this year across various ports nationwide from April 14-20, 2025.

31 MARCH 2025 — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has once again surpassed its previous record in dividend remittance, with its Board of Directors approving a historic P5.20 billion contribution to the national treasury for 2024.
