
31 MARCH 2020—The Philippine Ports AuthorityÌý(PPA) gladly received some 1,500 pieces of face masksÌýfrom the AboitizÌýFoundation to arm its frontline personnel with the much-needed personal protective equipment (PPE). ÌýAccording to °µÍø³Ô¹ÏGeneral Manager Jay Daniel R. Santiago, the donation cameÌýin handy as the port’s frontline personnel remainsÌýbusy ensuring the smooth flow of cargoes, essential and otherwise, into the local and international supply chain. Santiago said the entire °µÍø³Ô¹Ïcommunity greatly appreciates such concernÌýfromÌýthe former shipping magnate as the entire country marches on with its fight against the deadly CoronavirusÌýDisease 2019 (COVID-19). °µÍø³Ô¹ÏActing Department Manager for Administrative Services Department Eric E. Dimaculangan (right)Ìýand Executive Assistant to the GM Kelvin V.
