Gaya ng naging aksyon sa mga naunang international cruise ship na dumaong sa bansa ngayong Enero – ang MV Vasco Da Gama at MV Westerdam – maagang pinaghandaan ng pamunuan ng Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), katuwang ang iba pang mga ahensya ng pamahalaan, ang pagdaong ng Resorts World One. Ito’y upang masiguro na ligtas at maayos ang pagdaong ng nasabing barko.Ìý

15ÌýENERO 2024, MANILA — Bunsod ng sama ng panahon dala ng hanging amihan, nabawasan ang biyahe ng mga barko sa rutang Matnog, Sorsogon – Allen, Northern Samar mula noong Linggo hanggang nitong Martes (Enero 14 hanggang 16, 2024).

Ang 13 Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vessel sa nasabing ruta ay nakapagtala lamang ng 25 biyahe kada araw mula sa normal na 30 na biyahe kung walang sama ng panahon. Nagdulot ito ng pagsisikip sa pantalan at pila ng mga sasakyan na umabot sa nasa 180 unit ng truck.
