18 NOVEMBER 2021, MANILA—The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) are set to unveil on Thursday another eight seaport development projects in the provinces of Mindoro worth P754 million.

The completed seaport development projects are expected to enhance and sustain efficiency at Mindoro’s ‘food highway’ resulting in faster movement of the supply chain and eventually lowering the market prices, particularly essential products.

°µÍø³Ô¹Ïsaid the award was a culmination of group efforts in its CDO Port, under the Port Management Office of Misamis Oriental/Cagayan de Oro, to maintain efficient operating processes while maintaining a high level of balance with the environment.

04 NOVEMBER 2021, PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) is unveiling another major seaport development project today, exactly a week after inaugurating seven seaport projects in Bohol

The project, which involves the expansion of the Port of Puerto Princesa—the main maritime gateway of the province, is expected to further expand its role as a catalyst for growth not only for the region but for the entire archipelago.

29 OCTOBER 2021, BOHOL —The province of Bohol is expected to recover swiftly from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic with the completion of seven new seaport projects.

These seaport projects, set to be inaugurated today by no less than President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, will significantly change the transportation and logistics patterns of the province to a more speedy, predictable, and cheaper transport mode.

25 AUGUST 2021, SOQUIJOR—The Department of Transportation, together with the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), is set to inaugurate the expanded Siquijor port and airport facilities on Thursday, effectively ending the decade-long concern against congestion.

The Port of Siquijor is the main door of the mystical island province to and from Luzon, the rest of the Visayas, and Mindanao.

25 SEPTEMBER 2021, LUCENA CITY—The Port Management Office of Marinduque/Quezon (PMO MarQuez) is anticipating bigger Ro-Ro traffic as the PMO unveils an additional pier and a POB facility at its Lucena port.

With high concentration of passengers and rolling cargoes bound for Marinduque and Romblon, the new pier facility will address the congestion at the port as it offers additional berthing space for vessels.

22 SEPTEMBER 2021, GEN. SANTOS CITY -- Port traffic at the Port of Gen. Santos, popularly known as the Makar Wharf, is expecting an upward trend despite the ongoing pandemic as it unveils its Port Operations Building (POB) Complex.

The POB Complex, which will be inaugurated on Thursday, 23 September, offers a state-of-the-art facility, which is expected to ease the movement of vessels, cargo and other port-related traffic compared to its old complex.
